Support Groups Timetable for 2010

A new support group timetable this year, to enable people to attend groups on Thursdays and Saturdays.
All groups are facilitated by qualified practitioners. Counselling Groups are now held three Thursdays a month, and one Saturday a month, 10am-12md. Our counsellors are Helena and Shahida.  
The Groups held at BMCH Centre, corner of Lurline and Gang Gang Streets, Katoomba - Entrance on Lurline Street. For enquiries, please phone 02 4782 4866.  Office Hours: 10am - 1pm, Mon to Fri.

Treasure Chests 
Breast Cancer Support Group for women who have experienced breast  cancer. 
Come along and meet counsellor Helena Hinden.  Helena has many years experience with cancer groups including participating in regular programs at Quest for Life Centre, Bundanoon.
THURSDAY - 15th July and 19th August, 10am to 12md 

All clients and carers at any stage of their cancer experience
For people with any type of cancer and their carers. Facilitated by qualified counsellors Helena and Shahida.
THURSDAY - 1st July and 22nd July;  5th and 26th August, 2010,  10am - 12md
SATURDAY - 10th July and 14th August, 2010, 10am - 12md

NEW 
Mind and Body Healing
Learn techniques to cope with the challenges that a cancer diagnosis brings.  Benefits include: dealing with chemotherapy and radiation; managing stress, anxiety and worry; learning relaxation and encouraging positive thinking. Facilitated by Patricia, qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner.
SATURDAY  3rd July, and 7th August, 10am - 12md. 

Craft Afternoon
For women who have experienced cancer.  Join our informal, creative gathering. Bring your own craft to work on, or, work on a group project. 
Not available until further notice.

Music Therapy
Every month, Saturday afternoons 1:30 - 3:30pm.  Next session is Saturday, 24th July and 28th August.  Enjoyment and creativity with others whilst reflecting on health or realtionships etc.  Please see details in the Complementary Therapies section of this website.
